Family Owned & Operated

It Started in the Early 1960s

Our deep connection to this land began with Larry and Donna Pape. Larry took immense pride in raising his family, cultivating crops, and building a standout livestock program that ultimately evolved into Lone Pine Limousin.

Today Lone Pine Livestock is still based at 2127 Easton Trail in Pisgah, Iowa — a family operation from the ground up, and every part of what we do comes back to the same idea: take care of the land, the animals, and the people, and do it honestly.

Where It Started

The Long Life of Larry Pape

Tate made this one by hand — a leather-bound book about Larry, stamped with the same P brand that goes on our cattle. The photograph tucked inside is Larry himself, on the place he built.

It sits in the house as a reminder of what we are carrying forward, and why we do it the way we do.

The Next Generation

One Mission

Four Pillars

Growth always brings change. While we have adapted through the years, our challenges have only brought us closer together — and today we have expanded into four distinct, connected divisions that all serve our core mission.

Through every change, our promise remains the exact same as it was in the 1960s: to operate with integrity and deliver the very best to our livestock, our land, and our community.
